How it works

Hotels analysed one by one, no small print

At Tripitea we don't list every hotel in the world: we list the ones we've been able to analyse with recent real reviews. Every page includes a mandatory "who it isn't for" block — something no hotel marketing page will ever tell you. If the hotel has a recurring problem, we say it; if the location is farther than you thought, we say it.

We start by covering destinations where we can verify the location on Google Maps and have enough recent reviews to detect patterns. Canary and Balearic Islands first. From each zone you can access the full hotel catalogue, with filters by type (adults-only, beachfront, with pool, with spa) and each page contrasted.

We don't get paid by the hotelier. We earn a Booking commission only if you book and complete your stay. That aligns our incentive with the booking actually being a good fit.

How do you pick the hotels that appear here?
We don't list every hotel on earth. We select the ones we have been able to analyse with real, recent reviews. Each page states how many reviews were analysed and when, so you know the evidence behind every recommendation.
Do you charge hotels to appear here?
No. We earn a commission from Booking only if you book and complete the stay. That lets us say who a hotel is NOT for — we have no incentive to convince you at all costs.
Why do you only show 3 hotels per destination?
To keep the page useful. The 3 you see are the top-rated in the destination according to our analysis. If you want the full catalogue for an area, tap "See all" in that section.
What happens if a hotel is not listed?
Either we have not analysed it yet, or the volume of recent reviews is too low for reliable conclusions. If you are missing one, write to us at hola@tripitea.com and we will add it to the queue.
How are your pages different from the ones on Booking?
Booking pages are written by the hotel itself. Ours are written by us from 150 real recent reviews, and they include a mandatory "who it is NOT for" block — something you will never see on a hotel marketing page.
